David Yelland stars as David Copperfield in this adaptation of one of Charles Dickens most loved and most autobiographical novels, which was nominated for a BAFTA in 1975 for Best Actor (Arthur Lowe).  

Young David Copperfield (Honathan Kahn)s life is not a happy one. After the death of his father, his mother marries the villainous Edward Murdstone (Gareth Thomas). When his mother also dies, David (David Yelland) moves to live with the Micawbers (Arthur Lowe and Patricia Routledge) and encounters the scoundrel Uriah Heep (Martin Jarvis).
