In Eighteen  a teenager from Kabul learns on his birthday that he is about to be deported, and makes the decision to run away to avoid immigration officials. Director Reece Dinsdale won a RTS Television award for this episode.  

In Empty Nest a working mum (Katy Cavanagh) tries to prevent her teenage son going on holiday with his girlfriend.

In Zero a man (Charles Dale) is delighted when he is offered a job at the local car factory but learns how tough life on a zero hours contract can be.

In Our House a nurse hires a builder to work on her new hours but is conflicted what to do when he runs off with 2,500 of her money.

And in Burden a man desperate to be back with his separated family acts rashly, leading to tragedy.  Starring Warren Brown and Amy Nuttall.
