It’s the summer of 1944, and as the Allies march towards Paris, Hitler orders the French capital to fall into enemy hands “only as a field of rubble”. General von Choltitz (Niels Arestrup) already has mines planted on the Eifel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame but at dawn on August 25th, the Swedish Consul General (Andre Dussollier) steals into German Headquarters and begins a tension filled game of cat and mouse.
