Close friends and war veterans Cyril and Amos return to Normandy for the first time in 50 years for the anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Coincidentally, staying at the same hotel as them is American war veteran Waldo and his family, who were also visiting the war graves of their fallen comrades.
Upon reminiscing about old war times, they remember a certain woman that befriended the allied soldiers in 1944, the beautiful Angelique (also known as Angel).
Shortly after, Cyril decides to set off on a quest to find Angel, with whom he used to be enamoured with. However, it seems Waldo also has the same idea as he also decides to find to illustrious Angel. Both men used to be rivals for her affections back in the old war days - and appear still are!
Old rivalries will be re-ignited and new secrets revealed at the Normandy beaches in this reunion to remember.
