The first film to deal with the AIDS pandemic, directed by Arthur J. Bressan, who died of AIDs-related complications two years after making this film.

A gay man in New York City, in a monogamous relationship, becomes a "buddy" (a volunteer friend) to another gay man dying of AIDS. This is the story of the friendship that develops.
