The Very Best Of Patsy Cline(CD)
Patsy Clines tragically early death in March 1963 at the comparatively early age of just 30 robbed the world of, not just an enormously talented Country singer, but of an artist who was on the verge of transcending musical boundaries and crossing over to the all-important Pop markets. Patsy moved from talent shows through radio and eventually to the Grand Ole Opry in 1955. A year later she recorded Walkin After Midnight a number 2 hit and a country classic. By 1961 she was at the career peak that included two number 1s in I Fall To Pieces and Shes Got You and her signature tune, the immortal ballad Crazy. All these tracks are contained on this disc along with another 49 original tracks that make up an album that truly is The Best Of Patsy Cline.
