American reality television series, containing 20 episodes and was shown on MTV. The Hills follows the lives of Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Heidi Montag.

The fifth season continues as Lauren Conrad's dislike of divided friend Heidi Montag's boyfriend Spencer Pratt obstructs a reconciliation between the women. Montag becomes disheartened after learning that Pratt has begun a flirtatious relationship with a local bartender Stacie Hall.
