In 1941, Churchill orders the Special Operations Executive to create a secret army of spies.

Thought to be more inconspicuous than their male counterparts, a number of women are recruited and trained to operate as spies for the secret organisation.

Among them are Virginia Hall, who becomes the team's first female field agent, and wireless operator Noor Inayat Khan.
