Using extensive combat footage, dramatic re-constructions and exclusive interviews, Airborne is a detailed account of the worlds elite airborne units in action, from the Great War to the 1991 Gulf War. It includes accounts of both Fallschirmjaeger and Allied units (including the Chindits) during WWII, post-war operations from Palestine to the Gulf by British paratroops and Americas new helicopter-borne assault tactics in Vietnam.
