Set during British India 1857, Captain Clayboune (Rock Hudson) must restore his reputation after being disciplined for disobeying orders in this 1954 Hollywood adventure.

In British India, at the outbreak of the Indian Mutiny, British Officer Captain Claybourne (Hudson) is removed from his regiment for the charge of disobeying orders. But he finds out his duty to his men is far from over.

He attempts to redeem himself by fighting in the renegade Sepoys, and falls in love with the Colonel's daughter (Dahl).
