No Love For Johnnie (1961) stars Peter Finch as MP Johnnie Byrne whose thirst for power leads him into the world of political intrigue. Johnnie aspires to the big time and his hopes are raised when his party triumphs at the General Election. However, his world begins to come apart as he is overlooked for a front bench role, his wife decides to leave him and Johnnie has to fight to save his political career and his marriage.


Flame in the Streets (1961) is a hard-hitting melodrama about racial tensions in the early 1960s England, starring John Mills and Sylvia Sims. Jacko Palmer is a trade union official faced with the prejudices of his members when a black foreman is appointed, and the members threaten to strike. When he discovers that his daughter wants to marry Jamaican school teacher Peter Lincolm however, Jacko must confront his own prejudices and become a bigger man.


The Beauty Jungle (1964) is a British drama in which a young woman finds a new career as a beauty queen. Attractive secretary Shirley Freeman is encouraged by newspaper journalist Don Mackenzie to enter a beauty pageant while on holiday. After winning, she decides to quit her job and become a full-time contestant and despite early success finds happiness more difficult to come by!


Nobody Runs Forever (1968) stars the late, great Christopher Plummer as UN High Commissioner Sir James Quentin in this action thriller set in 1960s London. Sir James Quentin is engaged in sensitive negotiations on behalf of the UN at a conference in London. However, when an Australian detective begins investigating his past, Quentin must deal with accusations whilst ensuring those who wish to undermine his negotiations don’t succeed.
