Historical drama following the fortunes of three women whose passage has been paid to the British colony of Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619, where the men they are duty-bound to marry await them. Alice, Verity and Jocelyn arrive with little idea of what the future holds or the disruption they are about to bring to the settlement.
