The novelist documents his experience with Alzheimer's disease. Cameras followed Pratchett in his journey on what he describes as the dark path.
The BBC documentary which was filmed over the course of a year joins Terry Pratchett to try to understand what it is like living with Alzheimer's. This includes accepting the diagnosis he has, the day to day struggles of living with the condition, the inevitable result of it and working out whether he can find a cure.
The best-selling author says: "I've decided I'm not going to go down without a fight. For me, this really is a matter of life and death. This damn disease is not going to go away, it's only going to get worse. There is a war being fought out there and maybe it's time to go and join the troops.".
