Idealistic Lars Nystrom storms a bank in Stockholm with convict Gunnar Sorensson and holds three members of staff hostage, including head teller Bianca Lind , demanding freedom for Sorensson as well as $1million.

As the hostage situation unfolds Lars and Bianca develop an unlikely and curious attachment to one another.
