Following local tradition, architect Shadi returns to Nazareth from Italy and drives around the city with his father Abu, delivering invitations for the upcoming big day.

As they visit the homes of numerous friends and family members, old tensions begin to resurface between the pair as they await confirmation of whether Shadi's mother, who has moved to America, will be able to attend.
